4th Book
Flash and Brash With Fries On The Side

Get ready for another bumpy ride with Ann and Geoffrey as they take off in their rental car to tour California from one end to the other. Beginning in San Francisco where Ann finds herself the star in a piano bar, the book takes you to the north of California where the redwoods are so tall they cloud the sky.
Ann and Geoffrey make their cautious way through the redwood forests watching out for mountain lions and bears lurking behind every tree (or so Ann says…you know how she´s prone to a little bit of exaggeration.)
Up the winding Pacific Coast they go, stopping at beautiful towns on the way, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and drinking and eating their usual excessive amounts. From Sonoma to Napa Valley they drink (there is no wine left in the Napa Valley, so don´t bother going) and then it´s on to cowboy country where they fit in with the locals and go looking for gold.
Into Yosemite National park they travel and find themselves going around and around on the bus with 4 million other tourists visiting the park that day.
Typically, Ann sees all the quirky happenings in the National Park in between looking out for more hungry bears and mountain lions. Geoffrey, in the meantime, has an encounter with a rattlesnake which makes Ann so nervous she has to reach for her handy gin bottle.
Down to the glamorous spots next, Malibu, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey….with Ann looking for Hollywood stars and Geoffrey leading her away form the expensive shops but always at the ready with the wine opener. A detour to Las Vegas tops off the adventure…you are going to love visiting the Liberace museum with Ann and Geoffrey.
