Tour Costs
Please note that in order to maintain consistency in our tour pricing due to fluctuating exchange rates, the cost is priced in EURO.
Prices are based on 14 days and 13 nights with all inclusions as outlined below.
Deposit: 1200 Euro (aprox AU$1680)
Final Payment: 2650 Euro (aprox AU$3700)
Total 3850 Euro* (aprox AU$5300 - 2012) & (2013 same if booked by March 2012)
*Prices are per person, based on double or twin share.
Single Supplement
Own Room – Own Bathroom plus 650 Euro (aprox AU$800)
Own Room - Share Bathroom plus 450 Euro (aprox AU$560)
1.00 Euro = 1.24 AUD
1.00 Euro = 1.61 NZD
(January – 2012)
Tour price includes:
- 13 night’s accommodation at Maison de Maitreees. (Double or single room.)
(Apartment is serviced weekly. Extra linen and services can be arranged at a small extra cost). - 13 breakfasts
- 5 lunches in house
- House wine – white, rosé or red will be provided with all meals while dining in and out.
Other wines/beer and spirits at your own coast - 1 lunch out
- 1 shucked oysters/wine
- 1 picnic lunch
- 13 dinners
- 6 cooking lessons/demonstrations
- 3 Elementary French classes
- 2 Elementary writing classes
- Full use of apartment kitchen for your own additional requirements.
- Pickup and return to Avignon Station – New TGV.( Pickup 3pm Dropoff 11.oo – 12.00 miday)
- Transportation and entry fees for all tours included in the itinerary.

Just finished the book and had to check out the website. What a wonderful, lively bunch of charactersyou scored for your trial run as tour hosts and I loved all the references to boobies and bosoms – such positive and joyous writing, particularily about the ‘ones’ that kept escaping! Still not sure how you all managed to inbibe such quantiesof the local beverage and stay vertical the next day!what fun. Will have to aquire all your other tomes as well now. Lots of fabulous reading to look forward to.
