Gift this Christmas.

Giving someone the gift of time and pampering lets you off the hook when it comes to buying and wrapping Christmas gifts and the receiver will be delighted.

The Noosa Springs Spa has three gift voucher ideas, starting with a Christmas Tranquillity package at $99 which includes an arrival drink,  use of the spa facilities including the heated pool, and a spa massage.

“Sipping a glass of champagne or nibbling on chocolates in the light-filled relaxation room with its pool and tropical plants finishes off the indulgence.  What friend would not want to receive such a gift?”

I tried the Totally Blissful Christmas package ($145) and enjoyed 45 minutes in the hydro pool being massaged by powerful under water jets, designed to massage you from ankles to head top.  It’s watery bliss and you won’t want to get out of the pool.

You can enjoy the darkness and serenity of the flotation room instead of the hydro pool and follow up with a blitz shower.

Then comes the pampering with a number of choices: an Eminence facial, a hot stone or aromatherapy massage, a spa pedicure, a lime and ginger sugar scrub or a Dead Sea body wrap. Difficult to choose, no?

As I felt I’d already been thoroughly massaged in the hydropool it was a facial for me, and when therapist Rebecca greeted me with a big smile and led me into one of the tranquil treatment rooms I was happy with the choice.

An Eminence facial gives instant results. You’ll see it in your new firm and plump skin the moment you leave the spa and you’ll see it in the days and weeks that follow. The Eminence skin care range is organic with active ingredients that are fresh, pure and effective.

After a double cleansing, first with blueberry soy exfoliating cleanser and then a coconut milk cleanser, the face is ready to absorb the ingredients.

A blueberry detox firming peel with anti-inflammatory properties goes to work – you’ll know it by the tingling – and then a blueberry soy repair masque is applied.

You’ll almost salivate at this state, the chocolately blueberry smell is delicious, and the masque is rich in anti-oxidants which cools and hydrates the skin.

While the masque lingers on the face for 10 minutes, you’ll receive an arm and later a face neck and décolletage massage which stimulates cell renewal, plumps the skin, and softens fine lines and wrinkles.

When you think it is finished and you’re feeling renewed, a hydrating mist is applied, then a serum, eye care, an SPF 15 moisturiser and an application of citrus lip balm.

Sipping a glass of champagne or nibbling on chocolates in the light-filled relaxation room with its pool and tropical plants finishes off the indulgence.  What friend would not want to receive such a gift?

A Christmas Daze package ($225) is the biggie if you really want to spoil someone.

A hydromassage and steam experience, infrared sauna and blitz shower, a full body massage, and a Vino Choc Indulge Facial ends with a fruit and cheese platter and glass of champagne.

These are thoughtful gifts and save you the hassle of Christmas shopping. All gift packages are available to purchase until December 24 and can be used until June 30, 2014.
