Hi Ann, in regards to learning French, I started with the Michel Thomas series of cd’s,they are very easy. My French daughter in law is having a baby next year so I have to improve my french as I’m going to be une Grande- mere.

Ann and sympathise. This is actually one of the signs of a narcissistic person, totally self-absorbed with their own selves and lacking interest or empathy for you. In fact they are often incapable of focusing on others. I’ve had close experience with sort of person and it is utterly frustrating and you come away feeling annoyed and devalued.
Sounds like time to start a new social circle!
